This small quant shop located in downtown Boise, ID is filled with the warm color tones and natural light wood. The interior design by nature is calm, every detail has a purpose that builds up the shop’s overall light cozy interior.  The shop is small but delivers on flavours and options. They have a strong focus on their speciality flavored drinks named after local areas around Boise. Lucky Peak, Julia Davis, and Ann Morsision are examples of their specialty drinks and local parks. Speciality flavored drinks are their focus, not my preference. I decided to go for the core of any coffee shop, double espresso. The basic double espresso is the foundation for any great coffee drink. A strong foundation builds up a drink, and on the flipside can expose cracks. 

Jitters by Jane delivered, their espresso was served in a small white cup with their logo on it. The bean they are serving today was Stick House from Coffee Holderness. A central America and Africa blend having notes of chocolate and hazelnuts finished with soft cherry notes. Their espresso pleasantly surprised me. For a shop that is focused on flavored drinks, it is common for the espresso to be lacking, Jitters by Jane did not follow that trend. They stand strong in the sea of coffee shops in downtown Boise.  The espresso was served at perfect temperature,hot but not boiling. Strong notes of hazelnut and chocolate followed by smooth berry finish.In addition to the coffee they offered a delicious chocolate covered coffee bean..Jitters by Jane gets a coffee rating* of 9.5.
